Shasta
Supernatural Investigators was founded in 1979 by Nationally recognized
Demonologist ,Craig S. Martin, in Redding, California. As such, he
is one of only a handful of authorities involved in the examination and
investigation of Inhuman Spirit Phenomena in the world today. It
was his wish that an organization would be formed to give insight and relief
in Spiritual and Spirit-based phenomena.
Mr. Martin started his examination into the Spirit Realm in 1973 while involved in the study of Necromancy ( Using Spirits to assist people in Pagan and Occult Practices ). In 1979 he was ordained into the Priesthood ( Christian ) and began vigorously to help those who complained of Spirit hauntings that were causing harm to People, Animals, and Property. Through his many years of research into World Religions, Cult Beliefs, Pagan Practices, and Eastern Meditations, Mr. Martin has found a balance in nature which helps us to understand nature and how Spirits interact with the living on a daily basis.
Shasta Supernatural Investigators does not accept money for services performed. Because of this, we do encourage gifts and donations which are used to help those in need throughout the nation. Mr. Martin is engaged in work typical of most Americans. Currently, he is promoting Business and Consumer Protective Services on the Internet along with trying to maintain this website.
Along with his entrepreneurial designs, Mr. Martin is engaged in teaching prospective students worldwide, the art of Investigation in active, violent hauntings, and the dangers involved in such investigations. These lessons can be experienced through periodic "Ghost Hunts", organized by Mr. Martin. These seminars usually include the examination of Ghost Towns, Cemeteries, and Places of interest throughout the west. Topics covered are the types of Spirits, How to investigate safely, Spirit etiquite, and Tools of the trade. Expect a lot of photos and recordings to be taken.
Mr. Martin is continually traveling, engaged in his nation wide work of helping victims of Spirit Infestations come to grips with what is happening to them. Through his teachings and intervention, he has been able to bring lasting relief to hundreds of families throughout the World.

Shasta Supernatural Investigators does not charge for investigative or consultation services. However, in the event that a personal visit is requested to investigate Spirit Phenomena, it is required that travel, lodging, and food expenses be paid for in advance. Methods of travel are always the least expensive available, or , as required by the client, as are accepted accommodations and meals. Monies not used are returned to those who advanced payments for the aforementioned expenses. Most investigations take no more than three days with solutions met within that period of time.
Shasta Supernatural Investigators is constantly on the lookout for new team members. If you would like to be involved in an investigation, please feel free to write us and let us know. We will need your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER for our files. Protected territories are offered each Investigative member or group in order to avoid wasteful overlap. Please be sure to avoid investigations outside your territory unless specifically requested by Shasta Supernatural Investigators staff.
You will be required to learn the basics about each type of Spirit of the Spirit Realm, which you can easily do by visiting our Spirit Realm, Human Spirit, Spirit Helper, and Malevolent Inhuman Spirit pages on our website. In addition, you will be requred to memorize and follow our instructions for Ghost Hunting or Paranormal Investigations TO THE LETTER, according to the postings on our Ghost Hunter and Paranormal Investigator pages Or you can obtain information by writing our Anderson office via snail mail or e-mail.
Team members must follow the instructions of Shasta Supernatural Investigators exactly as prescribed. Absolute professionalism is required and expected by every person who accepts an investigative assignment. It is the responsibility of the Investigator to obtain the necessary permission to investigate on Private Property.
Investigation results are sent via e-mail file attachment, (Pictures in JPEG format only and not attached to a multi-MIME file ), or in digital format on a 3.5 disk sent to our Anderson Office. Conclusions and determinations are decided from the Anderson office and shared with the team member investigator. DO NOT send us the original disk. We will only accept a duplicate as we do not reimburse members for their pictures. Each investigator will receive credit in the Gallery for successful photo shoots and Investigations.
Those wishing to open a Shasta Supernatural Investigators office in their area, may make a proposal via e-mail and express their ideas for development. Shasta Supernatural Investigators is a Registered Name and Trademark. Use without permission is a violation of law. All standards of Shasta Supernatural Investigators will strictly apply for all satellite offices. Misrepresentation of the teachings and practices of Shasta Supernatural Investigators will not be tolerated and necessary action will be taken to protect our name and reputation.
Be sure to look for Mr. Martin's book, A Road Chosen, A Path Followed, to be distributed soon through StarGazer Publishing's CyberBooks. This is a less expensive and more direct way to get information to the public at very affordable prices, all through e-mail. If distributed through normal publishing methods, suggested retail would be $39.95. However, in keeping with Mr. Martin's desire to keep costs low, StarGazer Publishing has agreed to distribute his book for only US$10.00. If you are interested in purchasing this book in the future and would like to reserve a copy for yourself, please let us know by e-mail or post mail. Copies requested in advance will be sent within the first week of distribution. The cost for books ordered in advance is US$7.50. When the book is ready for distribution, you will be notified immediately. Those who have pre-paid book orders will receive their copies before normal distribution begins. Monies collected through Book proceeds will be used to assist with expenses when helping those not able to pay for expenses incurred in an investigation. Proceeds from sales will not be used for Personal expenses.
*** Please note: The second edition book is still in work and is scheduled to be distributed by the end of June, 2002, in manuscript form before formal publishing is commenced. At present, the book has exceeded 420 pages which means, if you plan on printing the manuscript, you will need a LOT of paper !!! Be aware, all copyright laws do apply and will be enforced.
